Sure, we can practically hear what you’re thinking…this is just another sales pitch that I may as well toss with all the others I get every day. Don’t do that! The truth is that we really do miss you. Of course we are always trying to bring in more business. We wouldn’t last long otherwise. But we wouldn’t last long if this was only a business either. It’s much, much more than that to me.
My name is Dee Dee Glover and I opened the Charleston area Stretch Zones because of how much practitioner-assisted stretching helped me after I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease. Cogan Syndrome aggressively attacks the eyes and ears. To save my eyesight and hearing, I was given chemotherapy infusions and massive doses of corticosteroids. Thankfully, the treatment finally worked, but, in the process, I lost all muscle tone. Stretch Zone gave it back to me and made me feel better than anything else I tried.
Currently, there is no cure for Cogan’s. I don’t know how long I will have to take infusions to keep it at bay — but I do know that I will always find the time for practitioner-assisted stretching, because I know how much difference it makes in my quality of life. Wanting to share that with others is what motivated me to open the first store in Mt Pleasant and is what keeps me excited as we grow and I see the difference it makes in the lives of so many others.
But, I don’t really have to sell you on Stretch Zone. You already know how amazing it is! I’m sure you had a good reason for stopping coming in for stretches, but I’m also betting that you miss them. That’s why I’m reaching out to you today. Maybe you’ve seen that we are currently offering a $50 Stretch Zone Gift Card to anyone who comes in during August for their free introductory stretching session. Technically, since you’ve already had your demo stretch, you wouldn’t be eligible…but, like I said, we miss you!
